I'm not sure if this is regional or if it's everywhere, but if you're near a Sears store it might not hurt to take a peek.

Brian and I were out at Sears tonight and we saw a sheet set for Seth. The sheets were on clearance for $11.99, but when we got to the register they rang up as $4.99. The regular price on these was $29.99!

And, even better, they were Speed Racer sheets!

We also got these deals:
Twin Speed Racer comforter -- Clearance sticker price was $19.99, rang up at the register for $8.99. Regular price was $49.99.

Speed Racer square pillow -- Clearance sticker price was 7.97, rang up at the register for $2.99. Regular price was 19.99.

Speed Racer car pillow -- Clearance sticker price was $9.99, rang up at the register for $3.99. Regular price was $24.99.

Grand total for everything I bought tonight after taxes: $22.22

I'm half tempted to go back tomorrow to see if any of the clearance clothes will ring up lower than the clearance sticker price.
If you're near a Sears store, definitely go in and make use of the price checkers. Who knows what kind of a good deal you'll find!

As for all the stuff we bought tonight, we're giving it to Seth soon. I'm going to wash the sheets this weekend and surprise him with them. The new comforter and pillows will likely be given to him right before our next yard sale. Seth's outgrown the Lightning McQueen phase, so I guess I have to find another little fella that'll like it.
