Easy Refrigerator Rolls

EASY REFRIGERATOR ROLLS
2 package dry yeast ( 2 T. bulk)
2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar ( or honey)
1/4 cup margarine or shortening
6 1/2 - 7 cups flour ( best to use half bread flour)
2 cups warm water ( I use thermometer at 140 degrees. I melt the margarine in the water in microwave.)
1 egg
Mix yeast in half of the flour with the salt and sugar. Add warm water with margarine. Stir well. Add beaten egg. Add rest of the flour. Knead in bowl with your hands. Cover bowl, set in a warm place, and let rise until double. Punch down. Let rise again.
Grease baking pans well. Shape into rolls, cover, let rise. Bake in 400 degree oven for 12- 15 min.
For whole wheat, use
2 1/2 cups bread flour
3 cups whole wheat flour.
Bake 350 degrees for 20 min.
Dough will keep in fridge for 3-4 days.
