How to promote your ebay items?

I am not getting as many sales as I would like and I was wondering how I can get more traffic to my ebay items. Any ideas would be great...thanks!

you really have to draw atttention to your item right from the start. in the title bar. you should use capital letters. you should figure postage in and offer free shipping. in order to compete with others. Plus I would use the large gallery picture also.

you want your title to stand up and do the hoochie-coo so it will grab somebody's attention over the next person. Once you have their attention, dont let it go. your description needs to be short and sweet. if it is too lengthy, you will loose their interest. too many rules and regulations will loose their interest also.

If I were selling baby clothes, Name brand is pretty much all that sells on ebay.

If I dont have room for the whole word shipping, then I write free ship. I hope this helps you some. I have been selling on ebay since it strted in 1996 and I normally sale everything I list. you have to take the good with the bad on prices. and when you list is just as important as the ad itself.

if you want to sell clothes to a stay at home mom. then dont list them in the middle of the night when she is asleep. stay at home mom's are normally exhausted at the end of the day and go to bed at a normal hour. people make the mistake of listing things at the wrong time. if their are 10,000 items on line for sale in your catagory. then it is not going to come full face until the time you listed it and people wont see it if you listed it in the middle of the night. you want to list it around 10 am for a stay at home mom. at that time the children have been fed breakfast and are playing and the mom has a free break to get on the computer.

if you want to sell to the working mother then you want to end your auction around 8:30 to 9pm. the kids are now in bed and she has a minute to herself and will jump onto the internet for a few moments.

you have to use marketing strategy when selling things on ebay in order to get top dollar. good luck to you and I hope this helps. below is how I would do a ad for baby clothes.
