ebay question

The winner has an address which is international. My ad states free US shipping so I emailed them to say I will add XX amount for shipping overseas, they reply ok. So I send an invoice with extra amount added on 10/9. I haven't received payment yet. When shall I start relisting again? I will email them tommorow but I was just wondering as its a halloween item and I don't want to miss out on selling this before halloween is here.

You have to wait 7 days before filing a dispute (there's a link on the sold items page by the item) and then 7 more before you can close the dispute and relist or sell via second chance offer without getting in any trouble. I'm sorry they're being a pain..

I state in my auctions and my invoices that the buyer has 3 days after the auction's end to make payment, if payment is not received item will be relisted or offered to the next highest bidder. If they don't respond to my e-mails and haven't paid then I relist.

Just beware, if you don't follow the waiting 7 days to dispute and then 7 more to close the dispute before you relist, you are risking negative feedback and paypal retribution if the 1st buyer ends up paying within the 14 day period ebay gives them.. since obviously you probably don't have 2 identical items to send if 2 people pay for the same item.

(I agree with your terms, I'm just saying ebay is buyer friendly instead of user friendly and I don't want you to get burned. I've been burned in that way before..)
