![]() Are EB's like coupons toward next purchase like Walgreen's does? And when you say you did the purchases in separate transactions did you have to get in line 5 separate times, or go to different stores or was it slow & the cashier was nice & you were able to do it all at once???

EBs are like CVS money. Say the ad shows Buy X for $1, get $1 EB making it FREE, limit 2. You purchase one item X for $1 and at the end of your receipt you will get $1 EB. You can use this EB towards your purchase of anything in the store except prescriptions, alcohol, gift cards, lottery tickets, money orders, stamps, pre-paid cards & tobacco products. They generally have an expiration date of 30 days after they are issued. For instance my EBs that I got from my purchases today expire 8/18/09. Now, if you take that $1 EB you just received and purchase another item X, you pay with your $1 EB and you will get another $1 EB at the end of your receipt without paying anything OOP. This is what I did with the photo books. It's called 'rolling' your EBs. I did my separate transactions without having to go to the end of the line, although they were really busy and I offered, the cashier said it wasn't necessary. I always offer to go to the end of the line for separate transactions. I think it's only fair to the shoppers behind me.
