coupon question

i know this maybe a stupid question, and i more than likely know the answer but i thought would ask anyway.

i bought some manufacturer coupons off of ebay, 3.00 off any glade frangerance, but they say redeem at publix. they guy i bought them from said they would work anywhere like target or walmart cause they are manufacturer coupons. im hopin they do or im our 7.00 dollar for 25 of them. should they still work at walmart or target or am im screwed?

It really depends on your store. Does it say ONLY redeemable at publix? That's a loophole. In the past I've gotten some that have PUBLIX in a top corner. I just cut it off without damaging the code or expire date.

I know my walmart will take them. I asked one time and they said if it scanned they would.

I had one for King Soopers that I used at Target and it worked with no problem. Hope it works!

Well i got my coupons in the mail today and they say only at publix.

i was able to use 5 of them at walmart. then the girl said i couldnt use anymore of them cause they were to be used at that store only.
so i have 20 of them left. im going to put them up for trade or back on ebay.
oh well lesson learned. thanks guys for the help
