Walgreens Help
Ok my deal vets i need your help... Ok so I received this "walgreens easy saver" catalog... Now i have 2 items that i get the mail in rebate for. But reading it, it says you can only submit once a month? So what if next week i buy more stuff thats mail in rebate? Or is it just this weeks thing that i can mail in once? has anyone sent them in more than once? like all 4 weeks have mail ins. How would i go about this?
Also does anyone know when these books actually come out? Do they always come out? Are the items in the book usually in their coupon mailers? I'm such a beginner at this.... To all you ladies who have helped me learn the ropes so much better, i so much appreciate it. I honestly never knew i could use a coupon on something like this and i would actually gain money. But lets say its on sale for $1.00 and i have a coupon for $1.25 for the item, can i still use the coupon? Let me tell you all that i think im hot stuff because i got free deoderent, a box on band aids for 45 cents, free toothbrush, free body soap, and soon to be 2 boxes of toothpaste for 25 cents each... oh ive been bragging to my friends... ive been bragging! So yes someone please post in here or pm me on how to do this rebate form.... And to all my Deal Vets, thank you for all your help and im now totally addicted to vickys deals.... |

You save all receipts from each week and don't mail in your easy saver rebate until the end of the month or until you've finished purchasing everything you're getting a rebate for. They ask you circle the price paid on receipt. On the receipt it will ring up for however much they're selling it for, circle that amount. Even if you use coupons, that amount is deducted and shown seperately and they don't subtract that from your rebate amount. Remember, if you choose a gift card instead of a rebate check you receive an extra 10%. Hope that info helps.

Okay, save all your receipts until the end of the month. Circle and fill out the form as you go. You have until June 2 to mail it in, but if you wait until then you will wait twice as long as if you mailed it on say May 21 which is my target send in date for faster turn around time. You see May 20-May 26 is the last week to buy stuff to submit. So, I wait until then and buy whatever I need to complete my rebates on May 20 when the sale ad comes out and send in my rebates the next day. Last month it only took them a week to credit my gift card. I check online. Then, you have money to start buying the next month's rebate stuff because the next one will start on May 27. They have been doing it every month for a long time. Some months they don't have much. Others month you hit the jackpot.
The rebates are for the amount paid on the before coupon price. Hope this helps. |

I'm SO STINKIN' EXCITED FOR YOU! I love bragging too!
So, I would save your receipts until the last week, like suggest above, because the turn around time it faster. Select for the gift card so you get 10% more back! Keep the gift card for months to come because they will recharge it for you and it's even a faster turn around time! The Easy Saver books come out at the beginning of the month. You can use a Walgreens coupon + Manufacturers coupon for ONE item - isn't that awesome! With the floss, put the price on the receipt but DON'T MINUS your coupon! That is money they get back from the company so there is no loss. This is a great program and enjoy very much! |

man i love you bargain hunters... ok so lets say there is no mail in rebate thing... ok this might feel like school b/c heres a story example
alright theres a sale of colgate toothpaste for $.75 cents... i have a coupon for $1.00. Can i actually use a coupon for more than the product is on sale for? Will they give me $ back at wherever im at? Like here kadie here is your 25 cent quarter! Now do they ever run out of these coupon books? So then that little thing in the back is the only thing going on for that month? well rebate wise with them? So i must keep this book in neat order all month... maybe i should go snake a couple more... the cashier handed me one... but how else do i get them? |

You can download the book online as well. they will not actually give you a quarter back, however if you have other items you will get the quarter off of that......love seeing a newbie try and get the hang of getting all of the good deals

They have these books all month and they should be available near the registers or wherever the weekly ads are located. Yes, they would deduct $1 if you were paying .75 for something, but you'd probably have to buy other things at the same time. I don't think they'd actually give you .25 back.
The other little trick to remember is that sometimes when there is a rebate for an item, but not the full amount, that item will probably go on sale sometime during the month for the rebate amount, so don't necessarily buy it on your first trip. For example, recently they had a rebate for Almay lipstick for $5.99. The normal price was $8.99, but around the 3rd week of the month it went on sale for $5.99, so that's when you should buy it. It's so addicting isn't it?!! I just started shopping at Walgreens about 6 months ago when they opened one near me and now I'm also going to CVS all the time too. Between the two I get so many things for free (or almost free) now - it's crazy! |
