gerber baby food at doller tree stores
I was just at my local Dollar Tree store and they had 4 packs of assorted Gerber baby food for 1.00 ! Some of them have fast approaching exp dates but I got 6 cases of pears that do not expire until Dec !

I don't know how true this is but someone told me that I should NEVER buy food from places like Dollar Tree or 99 cent stores because they wipe the expiration date off and put new ones on. I don't know how they would stamp new expiration dates on but you never know what people will do.

I never buy food at places like Big Lots and Dollar stores. I just can't do it for some reason.

Great Deal!! My Husband Used To Work For Dollar Tree And He Said That's Not True. We Buy Their Snacks All The Time And They Are Fine. As Long As Seals Are Not Broken You Are Good.

We buy from Dollar Tree all the time and have had no problems with anything.
Besides, if they were wiping expiration dates and replacing them I'm sure they'd be caught and prosecuted. That's a bit illegal! |

I just save it for the coupon book. My mom's Dollar Tree had the Gerber baby food a few months ago, some didn't expire until 08, so we bought some & it was just fine. My daughter had no problem eating it either. & I really don't think that you can wipe the exp dates off of them they are kind of imprinted into the cardboard.
