Bargains to brag about!

I thought it would be great to have a sticky thread in grocery/drugstore deals for us to post when we've had one of those awesome shopping days, like when you walk out of a store w/$100 worth of stuff and only paid $9 for it. Much like the 'what I got today' in freebies but this would be for purchases. We all love to brag about our bargains and I thought it would be nice to have them all in one thread.

I posted this thread in site news and suggestions and it got a good response. I'll ask Vicky to make this one a sticky. So, let's get to bragging......

It was a good day at CVS. I got 2 bags of Starbuck's coffee (2 For $14), a Schick Quatro razor for women ($7.99), a double pack of Playschool wipes ($5.49) & a pack of Huggies PullUps ($7.99). That came to a grand total of $35.47. After $6 in CVS coupons, $6 manf. coupons and $8 ECB earned, it only ended up costing me $15.47! Those 2 bags of Starbuck's coffee cost $8.99 each when not on sale so I thought I did pretty darn good.

Friday is my weekly shopping day.
This past Friday I shopped at CVS, which I do every other week usually.

I got:
Clear Care contact solution
Dove Cream Oil wash (small bottle)
Five twelve packs of Coke products

After my ECB's, CVS coupons, and my manufacturer coupons, I only spent $16 on all that. The Clear Care alone is usually $10!

safeway has b1g1 free of the loreal vive pro shampoo, which i love that shampoo... so basically it comes to 5$, $2.50 each, which usually they are 5$ a piece... Then i had a $1.00 coupon and each one came out to 75 cents! Awesome!

so my savings was over $8 on some shampoo and conditioner!

So, I see a few of you posting great bargains you got in new threads. Do many of you not like this idea of putting them all in one thread? I thought it would be nice to have one thread to check on everyday to post our own great bargains and read about others. I sent Vicky a message to make this a sticky but she hasn't responded back yet or made it one. Are any of you opposed to this idea or don't really care for it?

I haven't been shopping for awhile so I can' post anything here yet. I'm going through coupon-usinf withdrawal!

I got a couple of good deals this morning at Target, I didn't do much shopping, just went to pick up a few basics & found a few extra items, lol. I got 2 12 packs of Mtn Dew for $1.75 each, 2 12 packs of Sierra Mist for $1.25 each, 1 Free box of Kashi cereal with a $.94 overage , 1 Free pack of Eclipse mints with a $.17 overage, 10 Mr Good Bars for $1.40, & 2 16 packs of Kraft Singles with $2.25 off (can't remember how much they were, I just know I used 2 $.75 off Target coupons + a $.75/2 manu coupon) With everything I bought I save $16 with coupons. My total before was $36 & some change after coupons it was $20.96

I bought well over $100 worth of groceries today for about $60 after my coupons and my Kroger card. I saved almost $30 at Kroger alone!

I love walking out of the store and hearing my husband say, "Damn, you're good!" At least I know my coupon frenzy is paying off somewhere
