I Hate Target's receipts?????

Does anyone else Hate the Way Target does their receipts?????I personally find them difficult to read and figure out. Half the time I find mistakes. And then I have to explain it to the cashier!!! grrr!

I went tonight to Target with both boys first mistake. Second mistake guess what? I forgot to hand the 5/20 couipon to the cashier it was behind my target envie in my pda holder and the boys were in the process of putting everything from the candy shelf on the belt..grrr.
So as it was the cashier missed a coupon for wipes then I got an Ass. Manager who was insisting it came off (I had 2!) I was like I had 11 coupons; 3 for skintimate, and 4 target pampers/wipes & then 4 manufacturers pampers/wipes coupons, look count them only 10 came off! My whole bill came to 8.08 because I had Da's card 2.99 and 2/1.00 items from the dollar spot so after she gave me the 2.39 for the wipes, if I take those out 5.29 it only cost me 2.69 for the diapers & wipes, still it would have been cool to have slipped in that $5 coupon...bummer


Come to think of it Babies-r-us, Toys-r-us & Office Depot started doing this too maybe it's harder for people to catch when a mistakes been rung?!

I feel your pain. I never leave the store any more without checking my receipt. They are always forgetting to scan some of my coupons. It happens to me all the time there. It is so very annoying.

I hate it when they miss coupons, I just rechecked my recipt from earlier today & realized the cashier missed 2 coupons, & put in the wrong amounts on 3 of them, + the fact that he put them all in as manufacturer coupons, which ended up costing me more for tax, my total should have been $67 before coupons (including tax), & $18.65 after coupons (tax included) I paid $21.44, so I over paid by $2.79. Im not gonna make a big deal about it, because it's not a whole lot & I came out really well still, but, that's almost enough to buy 2 Sunday papers

I've started handing the coupons to them one at a time so I can make sure each one takes. Plus this way you can use the ones you want too first. I had a $5 off $50 at target and the lady didn't scan it until last (even though I put it on top) I started out at like $80 but ended up way under that, so my $5/$50 would not work. So I went across town to the other one and bought more diapers and handed the coupons one at a time and used my $5/$50 first!

I have to hand them the coupons individually and watch them scan them b/c I've been jipped out of the coupons too many times otherwise. I actually had to go back the other day when I realized that they charged me the full price for pampers that were on sale. How hard is it to get things right??!!!

I agree, Target always misses my coupons and it's difficult to tell right away. I usually go home and use a calculator! When they missed some coupons at Target, I tried to go up there 2 days later with more coupons (they were print out) and my reciept and they told me that it had to be the same day or bring everything back...I didn't have duplicates of all of the coupons though so that wouldn't have worked. I thought it was rediculous! What happened to the customer is always right?!?!

I've also gone back if they miss one at Target and give them the receipt and a new coupon (it was $3 off diapers/wipes). They scanned it and gave me my $3 back! Also, I think you should just return your wipes that did not use the manufacturer coupon.

One of our two Targets is awesome about forgotten coupons. If I can't find one, don't want to hold up the line, they always let me just go to customer service to get the money back. Plus, if they error, I have never had a problem going back in and getting my money back.
One thing I almost always try to do, add up all my coupons before I check out. That helps me to catch if one accidentally is missed or maybe it didn't scan properly.
You are so right about the Target receipts being all messed up though! The P&G coupons never show up correctly on the receipt. So if you buy a package deal and have to return for any reason, you totally get screwed because of how the computer applies the coupons.

That happened to me on Friday. I went to my car, checked my receipt and noticed that one of my FREE tubs of wipes and two of my $2 Pampers did not ring up. The Customer Service girl just had the cashier give her the coupons. I showed her which ones he rang up already and the FREE that he did not. It turns out I forgot to hand him the two $2 coupons, but the girl let me run back to my car bring in the two $2 Pampers coupons and gave me the cash for all three coupons. I felt better after that because I figured they were gonna give me hassle about it.
