Staples 1 cent deals!!!
Not sure if all state's have Staples office supply store, but if you do, go before Wednesday! They are having awesome 1 cent deals! 8 pack pencils for 1 cent. Plastic pencil holder for 1 cent. Report folder for 1 cent. Pencil sharepener for 1 cent. They also have Elmer's glue for 9 cents and floppy 3 ring binders 3 for 99 cents. They have limits on everything (3 of each thing per customer, 6 for binders, 10 for folder). Plus they have Pentel RSVP pens 5 pack free after a mail in rebate.
I went today and bought all of the above, the most I could of each, and paid only $5.73, before tax. Plus, I get 3.29 back soon for the MIR for the pens. Meaning I got it all for $2.44!!!! This is a great deal for all of us, so if you have a Staples, go now!!!!!!!!!!! |

I saw that here too in Michigan. Now I have to get there. I use that stuff as prizes in my classroom and for kids that don't have stuff.

Thanks for the post! I just got back from Staples and after the rebate will have only spent 46 cents! Worth mentioning, the rebate can be done on line so you don't even have to spend the money for a stamp! I thought that was pretty darn cool. My MOMS Club usually holds a collection for school supplies for needy children every Fall so I will be going back tomorrow to get more items to be donated. At these prices, I can buy nice backpacks to put all the supplies in and hopefully send a child back to school in style!

Does this sale apply to the web site also or just in the stores? Staples is not nearby me, it's about a 45 min. drive to get there.

I noticed these specials, too. What stinks is our Staples either never receives the promotional priced items or only enough to fulfill one person's maximums. GGRRR!!! I even went on lunch today with high hopes.

Another thought is that Staples accepts empty computer ink cartridges for $3 so you can take (up to 3 I think) them in there & save even more!!!!

While you out doing the Staples deal, check out Toys R Us. Here in Arkansas, they had a sale of buy a backpack of $12.99 or more and get a lunch bag FREE. We did this for my daughter who is starting Kindergarten in August -got a cute backpack that has a pencil sharpener, rules, eraser, and a couple other little things plus a free insulated lunch sack - a value of $7.99.
Also, Toys R Us has some Crayola items Buy 1 get 2 FREE - I purchased a 24 ct colored pencils with sharpener for $4.29 and got 2 more packages free. They also had Crayola crayons Buy 1 get 1 FREE, but they were $1.12 for a 24 count, so I passed since Wal-Mart and other stores will put them on sale for $.25-$.36 a box once it gets closer to school starting. |

Thanks! I saw this and plan on hitting it up tomorrow. I, too, teach high school. I require my students to have a folder. So I buy cheapos and sell them for a quarter for the lazies! It's worth 20 points...so it's usually worth a quarter to them! I also make my money back SUPER easy. I also have no fears of going back in a second time to get my limit again!
