Another CVS question

If I buy the Aquafresh toothpaste for $2.99 two times and get $5.98 in register rewards, can I go back later and use those towards the $20 Kraft special?
All my CVS's are out of the toothpaste, I am just waiting for them to get it.

wow! my store had tons of it! including mail in rebate forms. it's a monthly deal, so you'll have all month to get it
