You in Ohio?

I'm CRYING! Our Giant Eagles in neighboring towns are no longer going to double (the ones in our town stopped in January!). I will no longer have anywhere to double (that I know of) within 1.5 hour drive! Does anyone else live in NE Ohio? Where do you shop?

i live in NW ohio. we don't have any giant eagle stores. i shop at a local store called ray's also meijer and wal mart

I WENT LAST NIGHT WITH MY SIL AND TRY TO USE UP THE GOOD COUPONS FOR ONE LAST DOUBLE. WE WERE BOTH SAYING HOW UPSET WE WERE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE WE CAN GET THE GOOD DEALS WE GOT AT GIANT EAGLE WITH THE DOUBLE COUPONS.

Ahhhh!! I just saw this on the news this morning!! It literally ruined my day! I'm so mad that I didn't see it earlier to use up coupons that I wanted to double!! Then I looked at this week's ad and saw that it didn't say "Double Coupons". How can they do this to us??? I'm going to write and complain. On the news it said that it was only the Akron and Cleveland area that is stopping. I wonder why!!

I just got back from my Giant Eagle (Lyndhurst) this morning and found out the terrible news, when I was told that my coupons would no longer be doubled. WHAT??????? I am so sad and upset. At least they still give fuel perks, but I am so mad.

WHAT!!!! I live in NE Ohio. I didn't hear this at all. This is what I do! I have to check and see if my GE is going to stop. I live near Akron but not in Akron so will I be affected??? Oh this upsets me soooooo much!

When is this in affect??

I don't live in NE Ohio but I live in Pittsburgh where GE's started. I have a friend who is a manager at one (where I used to work)....I'm going to see if she can find out why for me. I know this is PA, but he went out to work at the Ohio stores when they first started opening up. I'm curious...maybe losing too much money?

Yep... just called my GE and they stopped effective today. I am so upset. I go there just because they double coupons and because they are 2 mins away and now I guess I will make the 25 min trek to super walmart since they are cheaper!

That's terrible. We just moved to AZ from CA and in CA we didn't have any stores that doubled and now the market I go to does double. I feel so spoiled, hopefully they don't take it away.
