Kroger Scan-Right Guarantee

This is another one of those things you have to remind them of in order to get it, at least, from my experience. They used to have signs at our Kroger stores by the checkouts, but they must have taken them down.
However, if something rings up wrong, you are supposed to get one of that item for free.
My sister who worked at Kroger, said its "up to $5" but I have gotten free diapers/pullups in the past. I've also gotten free frappachinos, diaper wipes, and some other stuff I can't remember. Just last night I got free pepperoni The cashier fixed it and I was like "I'm supposed to get one for free since they rang up wrong" and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about, then did this big "sigh" and said she'd get the manager to override it.
Just another FYI for anyone who shops at Kroger!

Thanks..they also do this at Publix..for those who shop there.

I think they teach them to just fix it and then only give it free if the customer specifically asks which I think is a little shady. I know I watch that register like a hawk.

I have items adjusted almost 2 times per month at Kroger. I check my receipt when I get home (don't have time at the register) and I get money back almost monthly!

Alberstsons has done this before. I seen that I bought some fruit snacks and they rang up wrong. I brought it to customer services to get my money back and I got them for free. I had not idea I was going to get it for free.
