What I learned at Walgreen's

I had a great trip to Walgreen's. I bought 3 x 100 ct. Exedrin tension headache w/bonus 24 ct. pkg. for $6 each and I used the $3 off coupon on each. I also bought a bottle of maalox with a coupon so that the total would be $20/$12 back in register rewards. The rewards printed out as 2 - $6 coupons. I did the transaction first and separate from my other stuff so I could have the receipt to turn for flexible spending healthcare account reimbursement. So my next order had lots of stuff and everything had a coupon! But the register wouldn't take my register rewards ($12 worth) because everything I had purchased used a coupon. The lesson here is that I needed to hand over the rewards coupon FIRST and then the manu ones! Oh well, I'm still learning! But then I used the 2-$6 on 2 Dr. Scholls insoles that have a $10 GC coming back!
It was a great day! My bill at Krogers was $84 before, $22 after coupons. I used the BoGo on Vive Pro and got all 4 FREE!

I was planning on going tomorrow and getting the fibersure w/rebate, mfc and reg. rewards they will be free and was going to do the same thing. Thanks for the heads up.

I had a similar issue once where I was trying to use the rewards and coupons on everything. The cashier suggested I buy one more item and that way it would take the rewards coupon, so I grabbed a Chapstick and bought it, so that's another way to do it too.
