Apply today for your households to obtain up to two coupons, each worth $40, that can be applied toward the cost of eligible converter boxes. Does anyone know what the retail price of a box is? as I think the coupon covers some or most of cost

They are supposed to be $60, so with the coupons you only pay $20 each.

Anyone get these coupons yet? How long do they take to get? I saw someone buying a Magnavox one at Walmart for $49.XX so with the coupons they're about $10.

This is maybe a dumb question, but we have a HDTV ready TV, we do not have a converter box, so we do not receive HDTV quality broadcasts. We have been thinking of getting a converter box, would a digital converter box convert to HDTV??
I am clueless when it comes to electronics??

My dh doesn't want to convert. He says we would be better off without the tv. He said the world would be a better place if there was no tv at all. I'm sure going to miss my court shows if he doesnt' change his mind!
