Is $10.49 for a Mega pack of Pampers a good deal?

Pampers mega packs are on sale for $13.99 next week at CVS and CVS sent me one of those most valuable customer coupons for 25% off my entire purchase on 3/15 and 3/16 making the Pampers Mega pack $10.49. I could then use a $1.50 off manufacturer's coupon on each pack. I have never bought a mega pack before because I have been trained to believe that the smaller the pack the better the deal.

What do you ladies think?
Del-monte/Dole fruit or veg ($.50/1)
Juice-most brands (off 1)
Goldfish
Quaker bars or bites off 1
Sara Lee, Merita, or other regular bread
Totino's pizza
Helman's (off 1)
Pampers/Huggies $3.00+
Cotonelle TP
Target
CVS ($/$$)
Old Spice Deoderant (off 1)
.75/1 Juicy Juice

That's about what you'd pay for a jumbo pack without a sale or coupons.

I think the best way to figure it out is divide cost of package by number of diapers and do the same with jumbo size pack and see how much you save per diaper.

You might be better off getting two jumbo packs and using two manu coupon and using the 25% off but I might be wrong. Do the math and let us know!
I could always use FREES, Target $/$ off coupons, Pamper points, disney reward codes, coke codes, propel, Toysrus $3+ and reward coupons, BTFE, Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic reward coupons, new Rx coupons, Thanks

I hadn't thought of that. The Jumbos are not on sale next week and I don't know what the normal price is so I will have to do the math in the store on Sunday. Thanks for putting the thought in my head.

Jumbo packs are $11.49 regular price (around here) there now, so you'd be better off with the mega pack this time around. Jumbo packs at 25% off run $8.62 - $1.50 coupon = $7.12, so 17.8cents per diaper (at 40 size 3s in a package). As you said, mega packs will be $10.49 after the 25% off - $1.50 = $8.99, so 14.98cents per diaper (at 60 size 3s in a package). I don't know what size diaper your child is in but size 3s are easy to remember how many there are per package
ISO (expiring after 12/15/09 please): Target Huggies diapers/wipes, .75 Huggies wipes, $2 Chinet Lunch plate, $1 Green Giant Steamers, FREE Flinstones, $1 off ANY Duracell, $1/1 Bounty, Heinz ketchup, Men's Degree deo, .50 any 1 Hunt's product, Mott's applesauce (IVDSO), Green Giant canned veggies, Target Balmex, .50/1 Graduates, Huggies Rewards codes from packages, Pampers points, Coke codes, Disney Movie Rewards, baby FREE's (lmk), grocery FREE's (lmk), stamps, $3/$10 Save-A-Lot, $/$$ CVS (not IP) & $/$$ Target
