todays paper!

Man I was not impressed with the todays coupons at all...bummer here in Iowa!

yeah i was a little dissapointed too. there were a few i would use but most of them were i cant use or useless like $1.00 off prilosec. i mean that stuff is expensive and $1.00 is $1.00 but still...

Today's paper was awful!! Only one insert in it! I usually get a paper from Mobile and a paper from Pensacola b/c they have different inserts, but they were both lousy! Hopefully next week it will be better.

Chicago Tribune wasn't bad. It was average with two big inserts. I cut all the coupons out to pass along the coupon train!

My local papers was pretty skimpy too.. I had some for general mills cereal save $1.00 on 3 boxes..If I bought that many boxes at a time they would go stale before they got ate.Maybe next week will be better.

I emailed the gazette, our local paper..they said they will contact the coupon companies and let them know that there were a lot of disatisfied customers..I guess a lot of people called and thought they were just missing their inserts but found out that is all there were and the paper is going to see what they can do about it...I told them I buy 5 extra papers for the coupons and they said they would see what they can do!! I will let you all know what happens!

I had the normal 2 inserts. Not bad coupons but not the best. I had a $1 off 2 post cereals and Tops near me has it on sale which is a good deal and I got $1 of 2 Kraft cheeses which are also on sale at Tops (which I need for my daughters birthday party).

My Tops also has a deal that if I spend $25 on certain products (several of which are on sale and I need) I will get free on my next shopping: 12 pack of Pepsi, 2 Digornio Pizzas and a bag of Tostitos. I think I will be going to Tops this week!

I am disappointed the one week a month that I don't get any coupons which I think is next week. Bummer!!

Yea here in the DC area it was ok - I got two. Nothing free or anything like that but a few soup coupons and stuff like that. However my store is making up for the paper by having a super terrific super bowl sale - GO COLTS!!!
