does Walmart match the buy 1 get 1 free???

This week Albertson's has a lot of items marked buy one get one free. Does anyone know if Walmart will match Albertson's B1G1 free items this week?

The sign at the front of our Wal-Mart says they can't match "gimmicks", like Buy one get one or % off. I have a friend who's a manager, and he confirmed.

Price match anything and everything else you can though - it's a great savings! And remember that you can match store brands (kroger, etc.) to the Great Value brand at Wal-Mart.
