Ebay help
I posted this I guess in the wrong area, because no one replied.
Okay, so I finally sorted through DS baby clothes and have a bunch of different lots. Is it okay to list sizes together, like 18 months and 24 months....6 months and 9 months? What about items that you know fit smaller? Like something says 12 months but you know you used them when you were using 9 months in other items? What about I have a few each of 3-6, 6-9 and 9-12 sizes in sun dresses that I bought before DS was born. I only have like 2 or 3 in each size. Can I lot them all together or should I do different small lots? They are not brand name, some homemade. What about shoes? DS had/has big feet. So I have a few size 6, 7 and 8's that he now can't wear. Do they sell okay? Is it best to start at $.99? I'm scared that I won't get anymore for them but that or it goes really low like $5 for like 30 items. I hate to give them all away for nothing!! |

As for the dresses you have in different sizes I would probably list those seperately since there are only a few. List one 3-6M, then another size and so on. I have had some shoes that have done very well! It depends on the brand and type of course, but over all they do pretty good, just include all measurements, lots of pics and details. 9 times out of 10 I start my auctions at $.99. With lots of clothes you are usually safe with doing this. With individual items sometimes they will end at $.99 and sometimes they won't, it just depends on the item of course. If it's 1 thing and you think you might not get too many bids on it, for whatever reason you might start it a little higher because you might end up with only 1 bidder. I have started lots at $.99 and had them go up as high as $104 so don't be afraid to do that. It brings more attention to your item, people are more likely to place more bids on items that start lower, especially lots. Hope that helps! ![]() | |

Thanks! I'm still working on taking photos. My son will only let me do so much at a time. Otherwise I would sit down all day and get it done.

Tammy explained a lot lol. I have found that lots sell better then individual items but it does depend on what it is(ie: a coach bag will obviously sell better alone). Good luck!

The only things that I'm selling by their selves are shoes (3-4 pairs) and 3 jackets, old navy and baby gap ones. I wasn't sure what lot to put them in since I used them from during spring, fall and winter, since I didn't use a heavy winter coat on DS. I paid only $1 for each of them, so if I get that, I'll be happy.
I love that I have so many Cater, old navy and baby gap items that I only paid $1 or less for!! So if I get that for them I'll be happy. I'm hoping for about $.50 per item. I got my use from them, so anything would be great!! |
