Question E-Bay trade trouble

Years back I bought an item, I sent the check, the check was cashed, the item was never sent. The person said she sent the item and never got payment. I sent her a copy of the cancelled check both sides] she said it was not her signature. She reported me to E-bay and I now can not use E-bay. What can I do? I don't even remember who that person was or what exactly that item was other than a pottery animal. I just don't understand dishonesty.

I am so sorry to hear that. I do not know much about E-Bay I do not use it for that reason. I know it can happen is enough for me.

I know alot of women who use it and do well, but I do not want to deal with it. Just my thoughts though.

Contact ebay, if this happened years ago it may be nothing now and they may reactivate your account if you call and talk to them about it.

Thank you Karla for you kind feedback, I wish I had never started with e-bay.
Its the part of sounding like the bad person when I wasn't; that still upsets me after all this time.

Do you have any idea who I should contact? I really find this whole think unfair to me, I was never given the chance to explan my end. Cold. Beware. Its a salers world in there. Thank you for great suggestion. I just need a contact.

I'm not sure if this will help but here is a senario I delt with:
Last year I sold a pair of winter boots on ebay. The person paid through paypal and then harassed me for a week because they hadn't recieved them yet. They get them and then complain that the liners werent there, etc(which I know were and I took many pictures when I posted the auction). I told them to send them back and I would refund. so they did.
Then they filed a complaint with ebay and paypal that I wouldn't return the money. They had a delivery confirmation number so they got their money back. Well here is the kicker-they only mailed one boot back! I had to contact ebay support and they helped me report it to paypal. Then paypal emailed me an affidavit that I had to fill out and notorize stating that they did only send one boot. After a month of going back and forth they finally refunded my money.
So I am not sure how this helps lol but it wouldnt hurt to contact ebay help or paypal help.

Smile Game people play.

I feel as though certain people have nothing else to do but play bad games on others. Most of the times expensive ones. I'm sorry for your pour boots, they didn't deserve to be separated. LOL! Thesr type pf people; selfish and greedy both come to mine as wellas totally dishonest. We are all as honest people trying to survive as we help others do the same.

Thank you ever so kindly for sharing your own experience and the way you resolved it. As a way to advise me on how to possiblly resolve mine.
