Some appear to go for quantity of posts rather than quality of posts.

I have to say in defense of reposts...I definitely agree with PEAU and k1m1c1.... we get soo excited about a post and we want to share with others. Sometimes what others post is too short in descriptive or we dont have the time to research a hundred former posts. Anyway, in regards to the comment about quantity as opposed to quality, that is an insult. We don't get little badges of honor for X amount of posts , only the pure joy that we are sharing with fellow savers. I personally get pleased knowing that someone may have benefited from my post. We should, however, view for prior posts and jmo....I think some viewers wait to catch these people and insult them ! What's the big deal? So you have to take 15 seconds and reread a post. I have done this , accidentally, and I have been insulted and I have even had my post totally deleted....grow up!!!!! A simple "repost" would have sufficed. ANyway, this is not to start a quarrel or even a discussion. At this point, I simply look at the posts and see what I may benefit from and if I happen to find something to share with some people that I have really befriended, then I hope we all benefit. I honestly believe that was Vicky's intention when she started this site. Let's be kind to each other...pay attention to reposting and let's help eachother.

Debbie - I didn't mean to sound rude. But I know when I first started posting (and didn't know how to search) people were constantly saying something was a repost or the post would disappear. I have very little time on here and when I go through them and find out it was just posted in the last couple of weeks it gets frustrating. A lot of others agree. I only mentioned quantity because 70+posts in 2 days and several are reposts seems excessive.
Once again I didn't mean to sound offensive and apologize if you felt that way. |

Do you know how frustrating it is when we fill out a "freebie" for like 20 minutes including some kind of survey, only to find out that we already completed this and all that time was for nothing??? I think that is soo funny because I catch myself doing that alot.It is the same thing with a repost and I understand that. I understand that it is frustrating to reread posts, I have done it myself and I know alot of us on here do that too. again, this isn't up for discussion, because I wouldn't feed into a mishap, but it's no biggy and let's all just be considerate of the reposts. I am actually enjoying doing searches now because when I come across something similar, I wind up saving sometimes !!KH4ut...no offense taken....I actually agree with you to some extent, some people just need to learn how to post better, including myself.

I will say that sometimes it is difficult to search. Somewords, I mentioned, are just too short to be recognized. Other times too many words are used in the search and it just gets confused. It usually helps to just use one main word.
