I looked into it, and you have to pay for a year or two years or lifetime. Not a bad price though if you download a lot of music.

Vimo just launched a new giveaway:
review your doctor at vimo.com (the form took me 45 seconds to fill out) and they send you a code for five free downloads from emusic.com. Usually at emusic you have to signup for a trial account that starts billing later, but Vimo's taken care of all that: you just get the songs, no strings attached.

Very cool. The songs even play on iPods.

I think you need to subscribe to their music service to be able to download those for free... or I don't understand how it works.

I had to allow popups to get another screen to come up and then it tells you what to do next. Hope that helps

I only got 30 sec of each song but didn't have to pay. After you download there is a free choice - it's small but it's there.
