Slow Cooked Pulled BBQ Pork
1 Boneless pork loin roast (3-4 pounds)
1 1/2 teaspoons season salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup of BBQ sauce
1 cup cola (I wouldn't recommend diet cola)
8-10 sandwich rolls split
Cut roast in half; place in slow cooker.
Sprinkle with seasoned salt and garlic powder.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until meat is tender.
Remove meat; skim fat from cooking juices.
Shred meat with a fork and return to slow cooker.
Combine BBQ sauce and cola; pour over meat.
Cover and cook on high for 1-2 hours or until sauce is thickened.
Serve on rolls.
*if you have any coleslaw, add that to your sandwich. It makes it taste even better. This is how they serve it in the South. I hope you all enjoy it.
Makes 8-10 servings.
