Why is Trader Joes included here?
I'm just wondering since TJ's doesn't accept coupons, so the deals are just whatever is sent in the Mailer... and their prices on other products are changed each day (and depending on location of store), how viable this thread will be for TJ shoppers?
Anyhow, they have yummy stuff- and if you're interested in something good and cheap- you can't go too wrong here (just be wary of expiration dates on produce and breads). They also have a decent wine selection, and many organic, low sodium and gluten free products on the shelves. =-) Frozen Section $2.29/ 2-pk of tamales $1.99 pack of enchiladas $2.99 potstickers $1.99 Frozen Waffles (they also have gluten free) Produce Section $1.69/ 24oz baby carrots $1.69/ yellow onions in bag Energy Bars $0.69/Tiger's Milk Bars $0.99 Cliff Bars Toilet Paper- $3.99/12 pk Paper Towels- $3.99 3pk And let's not forget 2 Buck Chuck. =-P |

My TJ store accepts coupons. I have used them many times in the past. Do you know if they have changed their policy? I haven't been to my TJ sinca last month and hope they still accept them!

NOne of the Trader Joe's I've been to have ever accepted coupons since they buy discounted food to begin with. I have family members that work there, but they were unaware of any store that accepts coupons. Perhaps it's just California that doesn't accept them? (We've moved a couple of times, and they've been 0/3 to accept coupons).
If yours accepts coupons- that's awesome! I can only imagine the deals you could get that way. =-D |

The Trader Joe's near me does not accept couopons, neither does the one near my sister in PA. I thought it was store police NOT to accept them. You guys are lucky.
I do go there ALL the time and know their merchandise well. They are a fabulous store; most people that work there are extremely helpful. |

Turkey Gravy..... don't buy unless you're uber-desperate... or you have chicken stock at home to "fix" this one. I bought it tonight, and it was all I could do not to gag.... great time to find out their gravy sucks (as it was used for our V-Day dinner). I somewhat fixed the flour-gravy by adding a concentrated packet of TJ's chicken stock and no water.... it helped.
Turkey Gravy @ TJ's $1.99 |
