Baby cereal

Now that Chris is eating table food he isn't real excited about being fed anything. He is very independent and loves to feed himself. So I have 3 bags of rice cereal and 1 box of oatmeal cereal left. I thought before I had seen on the large boxes of gerber recipes for pancakes, etc.

Does anyone have any recipes or ideas for using the cereal???

Thanks
Burgandy

That's a great question! I have some leftover boxes of baby cereal that I would like to use, too! I hope someone has some recipes for it.

Not a recipe but when I need Dylan to sit in his high chair just a bit longer to get something done, I pour some of the rice cereal flakes on the tray and add a tiny bit of water - okay yah he makes a great big mess but he has fun and I can get the dishes or dinner done etc..

You know, I use that cereal in everything! It's a great thickening agent!
I'll mix (whole) yogurt, cinnamon, baby cereal (I call 'em grains) and a fruit (pureed) together to accompany whatever else is for breakfast.
I'll add the grains to any pureed vegetable for lunchtime or dinner.
Is their soup too soupy? Add grains! Want to use those leftover Stage 2 Gerber foods? Add grains and a veggie or protein!

I've seen recipes for the pancakes and cookies too! On my box that I'm using right now, the recipe is for meat loaf. I'll find the other recipes later and post them!
