Question about connecting through Vicky's

So I need to get on Amazon and order some books. Of course, I checked Vicky's first to see if any deals were listed. There are not, but if I click through to Amazon fron one of Vicky's posts (or this URL) does that helo Vicky? If so, I will do it, but I was not sure if it was just a wasted step.
