Since a lot of members on here have kids, maybe add something having to do with parenting advice from one parent to another.
Another good forum might be a recipe swap. I know there are a ton of recipe sites out there, but it would be nice to swap "grandma's recipes" with others. Since most of us are here to save $$$, cheap meal ideas from members would be cool. I know we had to go without a oven, more than once, and I struggled when it came to meal time.

There could be a posting for coupon swaps. I noticed a lot of people prefer specific brand items, some of us don't but do come across the coupons in ads. Plus, sometimes coupons don't do a person any good when we can't use them if something/store is not available in our area. I love Bruegger's Bagels, but am not going to drive 45 minutes to eat there. However, I get coupons for Twin Cities places all the time, I just can't use them.
Any ways, I hope that input helps some.
