Green Giveaway!!!

I'm doing a giveaway for a bunch of 'green' goodies! Some things included will be natural/organic personal care items, soap nuts, CFL light bulb and some other nice things that are more gentle on people and the environment. It's easy to enter! Just state some of the things you have changed in your lifestyle to help lessen your impact on the environment and live a healthier life. Reply only ONCE please. I will have my oldest babe randomly choose a post number Sunday night (12/7). Good luck everyone!

pick me.. I am actually recycling. GOing to compost someday in the near future. and I am switching my bulbs to the good bulbs...

I started recycling about a year ago. It's not offered here with trash pickup. I have also switched to CFL light bulbs, and make every effort to shut off lights in rooms we aren't using. I also turned the heat down, to save on propane.

I started to recycle and switched out my light bulbs. I did these for two reasons, to save money and to help out the environment. I have also started to use organic cleaners and reusing cleaning bottles by buying refills instead of new ones. I also hope to start a garden next summer and grow some of my own veggies.

Pick me! I am anal about recycling! My mil doesnt but she composts so when she comes up I hound her. And I recycle everything! We have to go to the dump at least twice a week!

I NEVER get plastic bags at the grocery store anymore - I keep the reusable bags in the trunk and will run out to the car to get them if I forget.

I recycle anything and everything lol From the kids' school papers to my Kleenex boxes! You'd be proud, trust me

Each time an "old" light bulb blows, I replace it with CFL bulbs.
I started about a month ago unplugging everything that is not in use, like the toaster, nightlights and so on.
I will only use my dryer to "fluff" my clothes after I take them off the line.
We just had new windows installed as our old ones were original to the house and very drafty!
And as soon as you send me that check, I'm gonna go out and buy a Hybrid

I wash all my clothes in cold water and only wash when I have a full load. And I'm very interested in learning more about the dryer balls... sounds very cool!

I started recycling about a year ago, we compost, we turn out the lights in the rooms as we leave. We turn the heat down to keep from using so much electricity. We are also slowly changing to CFL lightbulbs.

We changed out all of our lightbulbs, recycle as much as we can and we grew a huge garden this year with no chemicals, just water sunshine and love!
