tampon question

Since OB tampons do not have a plastic appicator, are they considered a "green" tampon?? Thanks!!

That's an interesting question. I would assume then if they are, then O.B. would be too with NO applicator.
Sorry, got no idea...

I would say no because green usually will mean made of recycled materials and also they would not be bleached cotton and I've never used OB, so I don't know, but if they have any fragrance, then that would also make it no.

I agree here. Not only are they most likely bleached but also the cotton is most likely non-organic. I no longer wear tampons, even organic, just b/c I think the whole idea of wearing tampons is unhealthy. I think everything needs to be expelled, not absorbed into some fibers while sitting/soaking for prolonged periods in the vagina.

You are so right Alyssa, While it sits there bacteria grows and it is very unhealthy for you. My doctor told me about this years ago. It is not the way god intended the female body to work (plug it up that is and grow bacteria) Very unhealthy and causes lots of female problems too.

So are the organics but they are 'bleached' w/out chlorine (dioxins').
