A carbon-free certified line of Domino sugar grown in Palm Beach County, and processed and packaged at West Palm Beach-based Florida Crystals Corp.'s Okeelanta plant south of South Bay is now available at major retailers.
The sugar is packaged in specially marked green and yellow packages. The sugar process is powered by Florida Crystals' own renewable energy facility, the largest of its kind in North America, which uses sugar cane fiber and recycled urban wood waste to produce clean energy.
