CONFIRMED at my local Walmart in WV.
The brand was different than those posted, but it was still $.40 a pound. Limit of 2. The self-check had to get cashier approval before I could check out. Apparently they have to make sure you only get 2 turkeys.

That's goofy! If you really wanted more then you could just walk out to your car, drop off your first two and walk back in and buy two more! LOL

Same thing at my Wal-Mart. When the cashier scanned it, it beeped and the register sais...LIMIT 2...and she had to make sure I had only 2.

That was my thought, too. I imagine there have been a few people do that. Brian wants me to go back down and get 2 more turkeys tomorrow so we have enough for Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Yeah, the self-check cashier said someone came in and tried to buy 10 at once and they had to throw the "limit 2" signs up.

My walmart doesn't sell turkeys. All of your Walmarts must have a grocery store in them (aka Super Walmart!) Ours sells some groceries but nothing like fresh meat, produce etc.

I was able to get a free turkey, ham or lasagna at my local Shoprite in NJ if you bought $300 worth of groceries within a month and a half's time. I used all of my free coupons and my almost free products to help my money "spent" get to $300 very quickly. I have probably on spent $175 out of the $300 needed and used my free coupons to help me with the rest.
