I was at Walmart last week and the cashier said they don't take internet coupons, so I said fine I don't want my 8 boxes of cereal and ticked her off. So I went to the customer service desk after to complain about the attitude of the cashier and she went to get all the cereal boxes and tried the coupons, they worked. She said if they are color they should try to scan them because if they are fakes the register won't accept them. Don't take no for an answer right away.

I sent a note to WalMart - I will wait for an answer. This is why I go to Target more - I get better deals!

I had the same problem at my Wal-Mart, which is why I posted this coupon policy. The manager at my store told me that they "say" they do not accept them, but if you press the issue and ask for the manager, they WILL accept them. They just have the cashiers tell people that so they don't have to be bothered. DO NOT back down!!!!!!

Each store has the option to decline coupons, it is up to the management. That is what I found out... BUT you are right. If you don't back down most of the time they'll give you what you want. ESPECIALLY if you demand a copy of their policy. I rarely shop at walmart anymore.
