5 year anniversary romantic getaway in Missouri
Ok, my dh and I didn't go on a honeymoon when we got married. I've been thinking of surprising him on our 5 year anniversary next year of a "belated" honeymoon getaway. I want to stay in Missouri; it's closer to home and I still can't bring myself to be far away from my dtr's for very long. Any suggestions?

What about a bed and breakfast? There are several very nice ones in Hanibal or for that matter downtown St. Charles, or you could do the "romantic" trip to Springfield and see Bass Pro...which would be romantic to Mike, but not so much, or there is always the "romantic" float trip..LOL
Can't really think of too much else in Missouri that is romantic...well, let me rephrase that...romantic that he would enjoy! If you think of something, LMK. For our 5 year, we went to Dierdorf & Hart's for dinner and got a room downtown that was a jacuzzi suite. Nuf said. ![]() |

Tan-Tar-A is lovely.
Good restaurants and things to do inside and out. And of course, it's on the lake. |
