Chicago......any tips on what to do and where to stay?
I have never been to Chicago. My dh has but it's been a while ago. We are thinking about taking a trip there this summer with the girls. Any suggestions on what to do there? Any good/cheap places to stay? TIA!!!

It's kind of expensive but the Shedd Aquarium is a great place to go. The Sears tower is neat to see also.

Gary and I went this fall. We had a great time and there is a lot to do with the kids. On Mondays, most of the "attratctions" are free admission. ie: Shedds Aquarium, Sears Tower, etc. so that might be something to consider when planning, to use Monday as a day to do the big stuff.
I have a book that a travel agent gave me that has a lot of good info in it if you want it Sheri. |

Lincoln Park Zoo is free and it is great my son always has a great time there and it is right by the lake it has a kids zoo also and it's all free. Brookfield zoo is nice more animals but it cost and everything is extra. You can also you to the top of the sears tower before they change the name. If your into baseball it would be nice to go by and see wrigley field. Millenium park is nice in the summer it has a nice water fountain you can play in and the bean you can see. If you let me know what kinds of things your intersted in I can give you better suggestions.
Oh yeah and bring LOTS of quarters for parking.LOL |
