My baby has arrived!!!!

I was due give birth on May 20th. Much to my surprise he decided to come 6 weeks early and was born on Tuesday, April 7.

Labor was relatively quick and 'easy' I checked into the hospital at 6:30am and gave birth at 9:16am.

Justin Michael came into this world weighing 5 pounds 1 ounce and 18 1/2 inches long.

Because he was premature, he was put into the N.I.C.U. to help his lungs finish developing. Within a day all of the breathing tubes and blood pressure medication had been removed. He is still there, until he is able to consistently take between 1-1 1/2 ounces of formula through a bottle (yesterday he took 2 tsp every 3 hours with no problem).

It is sad not having him home with us, but I know he is in the best place that he needs to be at this time. I am hoping that we will be able to bring him home sometime next week, but will have to wait to see how he progresses.

If anyone knows where I can buy Neosure formula (the preemie version of Similac) or where I may be able to find coupons for this product, I would be thrilled!

I am not very good at loading pictures, but will see if I am able to figure it out later today.

congratulations on your new little boy!!!! make sure to ask your ped's office too for samples of formula-even the hospital might have something.

Wow! What a little stinker! Couldn't wait to meet his big brothers.......! Congrats! Call Similac and tell them your situation......the hospital should send you home with formula though.....right? They did when my Step Daughter was born! Again CONGRATS!!!!!!!
