So I told Rick my before total and then what I spent and he actually gave me a positive response. 'WOW'

What a goof. If I left the shopping up to him we'd have no money for anything extra and less than half of what we have.

Good job! Sometimes they don't see all the hard work and effort until you show them that before and after total. I know have everyone else in my house (except the baby) to only buy on sale and try to use a coupon. My son and mom are both addicted to the clearance racks. I love it.

Oh yeah. My 5 year old is my shopping buddy he always asks:

Do you have a coupon?
Is it in the avertisent (he has a hard time with that word)
Is it on sale or clearance?
He also knows that 75% is better than 30% off!
