Steel Toe Boots and Shoes for $1.60 at Dollar General Store

I was at Dollar General the other day and I saw these. They bought out some of the Iron Age Shoe Stores and had all kinds of steel toe work boots and shoes for $16, and they were marked down to 75% off. I bought a pair for DH. He gets them free at work, but only 1 pair a year, so I figured for $4.80, I'd get him a new pair. He wasn't impressed, saying he didn't really need them and told me to take them back. I went up there today to return them and they were now marked down to 90% off, making them $1.60!!!!!!!

If your DH wears steel toes, might be worth a trip to DG to check it out! They had several styles and lots of sizes at mine, plus they had the no slip kind for resturant workers.

Are these good brand? David needs a new pair..Idk if there is even a DG near us.

We have always worn Iron Age brand. They usually cost over $100 a pair. The "shoe truck" used to come to our facility and I thought they always had pretty good shoes.
